Services + Fees

Acupuncture (Initial Visit)  $185

During your first visit, we'll talk about what brought you in, go over your medical history, and give you plenty of time to address your concerns. I'll ask you lots of questions, and use traditional diagnosis techniques, such as looking at the tongue and reading the pulse, to assess where your body might be out of balance. The rest of your time will be devoted to your treatment. Please allow up to 2 hours for your initial visit.

Acupuncture (Return Visit)  $115

We will spend the first part of the visit checking in & evaluating any changes. The rest of our time together is spent on your treatment. Return visits range from 45 minutes up to 90 minutes, depending on complexity.

Covid-19 Update: Protocols change to adapt to current regional and national guidelines. Your first-time patient interview may happen over the phone ahead of time. We’ll go over the latest details when you schedule your appointment. Changes incorporated into the clinic room indefinitely: an open window and two in-room air purifiers.

Other services that may be included as part of an acupuncture session are as follows.

Moxibustion

Moxibusiton, or moxa, is a therapeutic practice of warming acupuncture points with a smoldering herb called mugwort. The heat from a moxa stick, a moxa cone or loose moxa, slowly and gently penetrates the body to help build Qi and blood, and is very effective at boosting immunity and vitality. I often recommend moxa for patients who always feel much colder than people around them, those who catch colds frequently, and those with depression or chronic fatigue.

Tui Na

Tui Na means "push/pull" and is a type of therapeutic bodywork for specific problem areas of the body. These short, targeted sessions incorporate acupuncture meridians and can help issues such as headache, stiffness and knots in the upper back & neck, forearm pain from overuse, or lower leg/foot pain or poor circulation.

Fire Cupping

Those funny circle marks on the backs of athletes are the tell-tale signs of cupping. Smooth glass cups are used to quickly and temporarily create a suction on the surface of the skin, to unblock meridians, move Qi & blood, reduce stagnation, and stimulate organ and immune function. The temporary ecchymosis is the intended, therapeutic effect.
